Varieties of misrepresentation and homomorphism [PDF]
This paper is a critical response to Andreas Bartels’ (2006) sophisticated defense of a structural account of scientific representation. We show that, contrary to Bartels’ claim, homomorphism fails to account for the phenomenon of misrepresentation. Bar-

On the restricted homomorphism problem [PDF]
The restricted homomorphism problem RHP(H,Y) asks: given an input digraph G and a homomorphism g:G→Y, does there exist a homomorphism f:G→H? We prove that if H is hereditarily hard and Y↛H, then RHP(H,Y) is NP-complete.

Applications of Frobenius n -homomorphisms
Russian Mathematical Surveys, 2002The paper begins with the definitions needed: the multilinear map of algebras using the Frobenius recursion formula and the Frobenius \(n\)-homomorphism of algebras with unity. The authors also recall their previous results concerning Frobenius \(n\)-homomorphisms in the case of the algebras \(\mathbb{C}[u_1,\dots,u_n]\) and \(\mathbb{C}\).

$\ast$-Ring n-homomorphisms between topological algebras
Acta Universitatis Apulensis, 2014Summary: We first obtain some results on \(\ast\)-ring \(n\)-homomorphisms between certain topological algebras. Indeed, if \(\theta\) is a \(\ast\)-ring \(n\)-homomorphism from a functionally continuous topological \(\ast\)-algebra \(A\) into a symmetric commutative \(lmc\;Q-*\)-algebra \(B\) such that \(M_A\neq\emptyset\) and \(M_B\neq\emptyset ...

K-Characters and n-Homomorphisms
2019This chapter discusses two situations where the combinatorics behind k-characters appears with no apparent connection to group representation theory. In geometry a Frobenius n-homomorphism is defined essentially in terms of the combinatorics of k-characters.

N-Homomorphisms of Topological N-Groups
1995Let N be a right topological nearring. A topological N-group is a pair (G, μ) where G is a topological group and μ is a continuous function from N × G into G such that. This is, of course, just the topological analogue of the definition of N-group as given by G. Pilz on page 13 of [4] and a nearring module or N-module as defined by J.R.
