Existence of three solutions for a higher-order boundary-value problem
We consider a higher-order multi-point boundary-value problem with a nonlinear boundary condition. Sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of three solutions.

Unbounded upper and lower solution method for third-order boundary-value problems on the half-line
In this article, we prove the existence of unbounded upper and lower solutions of third-order boundary-value problems on the half-line. Here the Nagumo conditions play an important role in the nonlinear term involved in the second-order derivatives.

Existence of solutions for a fourth-order boundary-value problem
In this paper, we use the lower and upper solution method to obtain an existence theorem for the fourth-order boundary-value problem $$displaylines{ u^{(4)}(t)=f(t,u(t),u'(t),u''(t),u'''(t)),quad ...

Existence of positive radial solution for the elliptic system on an exterior domain
This article discusses the existence of positive radial solution for the elliptic system { − △ u = K ( | x | ) f ( | x | , u , v , | ∇ u | ) , x ∈ Ω , − △ v = K ( | x | ) g ( | x | , u , v , | ∇ v | ) , x ∈ Ω , α 1 u + β 1 ∂ u ∂ n | ∂ Ω = 0 , α 2 v + β 2

A Hartman-Nagumo type condition for a class of contractible domains
We generalize an existence result on second order systems with a nonlinear term satisfying the so-called Hartman-Nagumo condition. The generalization is based on the use of Gauss second fundamental form and continuation techniques.

Naguma type conditions for second order differential equations with deviating arguments
The authors generalize the Nagumo type conditions in order to obtain the existence of solutions to second-order differential equations with deviating arguments. Applications of the obtained results are given. In particular, a priori bounds for the derivative of solutions to second-order boundary value problems with deviating arguments is derived.
