The use of Dermoscopy in nail disorder (also known as 'onycoscopy' is quite recent. Initially utilised for the study of nail pigmentation, nail dermoscopy as gradually become more and more frequently used to observe other types of neoplastic and non-neoplastic neil disorders, and in the recent years several papers on 'onychoscopy' have been published.
