Nail involvement in psoriasis is common; reported incidences1–5 vary from 10% to 50%. The clinical manifestations are multiple and varied, ranging from loosening of the nail plate to abnormal nail formation. Nail changes are more common on fingers than toes. Nail involvement as the sole manifestation of psoriasis is uncommon.
