Improved incremental algorithm of Naive Bayes

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2016
A novel Naive Bayes incremental algorithm was proposed, which could select new features. For the incremental sample selection of the unlabeled corpus,a minimum posterior probability was designed as the double threshold of sample selection by using the ...

Naïve Bayes evidence accumulation K-modes clustering: A new method for classifying binary data and its application on real data of injecting drug users

open access: yesJournal of Biostatistics and Epidemiology, 2018
Background & Aim: Clustering is the method of classifying discrete data such as Kmodes, and Naïve Bayes classifier is the classification to predict the unknown real classes.

Interplay Between Green Investment and Market Price Premia in Global Shipping

open access: yesInternational Journal of Finance &Economics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Existing research emphasises that the driver of green investment is its future profitability. This paper shows that other investors' decisions also influence green investment. We take the example of scrubber installation in shipping, which is optional by regulation but has an established market for trading its underlying asset.

Naive Bayes Learning of Dermoscopy Images

open access: yes, 2019
We show naive Bayes models of the melanoma skin cancer represented by dermoscopy images from two different repositories. The dermoscopy images of each data set are recursively analyzed by the Mallat wavelet tree transform to extract a set of spatio-frequency filters, which are used to build energy based (rotation invariant) features.

Functionally complementary bacterial inoculant coordinates arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi to improve Angelica sinensis root yield and quality

open access: yesiMetaOmics, EarlyView.
Comprehensive understanding of how diverse PGPR strains enhance the rhizosphere microenvironment remains a considerable challenge. Here, we provide experimental evidence that a functionally synergistic composite microbial formulation can markedly enhance growth performance and improve the quality attributes in Angelica sinensis.

Interpretable machine learning enables early and accurate detection of drug‐induced liver injury: A multicenter study with real‐world clinical translation

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
This study develops an interpretable gradient‐boosting model that accurately identifies drug‐induced liver injury (DILI) using routine laboratory data. The model explains key clinical features through SHapley Additive exPlanations analysis and detects DILI earlier than expert evaluation, offering a transparent and practical tool for precision ...
