Creation of a Landslide Susceptibility Map Using Short‐Term Data From the July 2018 Heavy Rainfall in Southern Hiroshima Prefecture

open access: yesGeological Journal, EarlyView.
This work advances landslide susceptibility mapping by incorporating short‐term trigger data with landscape susceptibility mapping. We also examine the importance of downsampling, watershed delineation and geospatial correlations in evaluating outcomes.

Trigonometric words ranking model for spam message classification

open access: yesIET Networks, EarlyView., 2022
Abstract The significant increase in the volume of fake (spam) messages has led to an urgent need to develop and implement a robust anti‐spam method. Several of the current anti‐spam systems depend mainly on the word order of the message in determining the spam message, which results in the system's inability to predict the correct type of message when

One Dependence Augmented Naive Bayes

open access: yes, 2008
. In real-world data mining applications, an accurate ranking is same important to a accurate classification. Naive Bayes (simply NB) has been widely used in data mining as a simple and effective classification and ranking algorithm.

Randomized Phase II Trial of Consolidation Pembrolizumab After Definitive Chemoradiotherapy in Locally Advanced Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma: KCSG HN19‐09, CONPELAN Study

open access: yesHead &Neck, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background The benefit of consolidation programmed cell death protein 1 (PD‐1) blockade after chemoradiotherapy in locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) remains unclear. Methods Patients with stages II–IVB NPC were randomized (2:1) to pembrolizumab 200 mg or placebo every 3 weeks for up to 17 cycles after chemoradiotherapy ...

Parametric design method of building structured cabling system oriented to data mining

open access: yesIET Networks, EarlyView., 2022
This paper puts forward the method of secondary development and design software through the research of building structured cabling system (SCS), and uses data mining technology to carry out parametric design of building SCS. Then, the feasibility of the design is tested by comparing the data of the traditional design and the parametric design ...

Pairwise Naive Bayes Classifier

open access: yes, 2006
Class binarizations are effective methods that break multi-class problem down into several 2-class or binary problems to improve weak learners. This paper analyzes which effects these methods have if we choose a Naive Bayes learner for the base ...
