This study presents the first complete mitochondrial genome of the stored grain pest Latheticus oryzae, which is 15,798 bp long and exhibits a typical insect mitogenome structure with high A + T content. Phylogenetic analysis confirms its close relationship to Tribolium species within the Tenebrionini tribe.
