Dynamic site‐interconversion reduces the induction period of methanol‐to‐olefin conversion
Abstract Reaction–diffusion coupling across the catalyst pore, grain, pellet, and reactor bed has been studied using a particle‐resolved transient microkinetic model applied to temperature‐programmed desorption and step‐response studies of methanol and dimethyl ether conversion over ZSM‐5 catalysts, respectively.

Tiling Robotics: A New Paradigm of Shape‐Morphing Reconfigurable Robots
Tiling robotics is a novel paradigm of shape‐morphing reconfigurable robots, defining them as polyform‐inspired machines capable of transforming between at least two polymorphic shapes. Various reconfiguration‐enabling and locomotion mechanisms of tiling robots are comparatively analyzed, with the electromechanical developments, along with a proposed ...

Named Entity Recognition with Extremely Limited Data [PDF]
Traditional information retrieval treats named entity recognition as a pre-indexing corpus annotation task, allowing entity tags to be indexed and used during search. Named entity taggers themselves are typically trained on thousands or tens of thousands of examples labeled by humans.

Implementation of a Biologically Inspired Responsive Joint Attention System for a Social Robot
This work introduces a responsive joint attention system in the social robot Mini, enabling dynamic, human‐like responses based on the user's head, body, and gaze. The system enhances user engagement and robot responsiveness. An experiment reveals significant improvements in social presence when the system is active, validating its effectiveness in ...
