Light‐Imprinted Chirality in Nanomaterials: From Principles to Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Light‐induced chirality represents a transformative paradigm for fabricating chiral nanostructures. This review provides a comprehensive framework encompassing light‐based strategies for imprinting and tuning chirality in nanomaterials, which guides researchers in harnessing light to create next‐generation functional materials.

Carbon Interlayer with Uniformly Anchored ZnO Nanoparticles: Surface‐Energy‐Driven Coble Creep for Practical Anode‐Free Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We used a zinc oxide–carbon composite interlayer (ZnO@C) via the electron‐beam (e‐beam) irradiation method to fabricate a cost‐effective, high‐energy‐density, anode‐free solid‐state battery. Chemical anchoring between the ZnO and carbon enabled uniform nanoscale morphology, mitigating the high surface energy of the ZnO NPs.

Self-instability and bending behaviors of nano plates

Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica, 2009
Abstract This paper aims at investigating the size-dependent self-buckling and bending behaviors of nano plates through incorporating surface elasticity into the elasticity with residual stress fields. In the absence of external loading, positive surface tension induces a compressive residual stress field in the bulk of the nano plate and there may ...
