This review systematically explains the synthesis, properties, and energy storage and conversion applications of vanadium carbides. We introduce the structural and the synthetic strategies and reviewed recent developments in the material synthesis processes. Surgical infection is a difficult problem in modern medical practice. Prevalence of surgical infection, new strains of microorganisms and their resistance to antibiotics, poor outcomes of wound treatment, lack of sensitivity of microorganisms to commonly used antiseptics necessitate the search for the new methods and means of treatment in wound surgery.
