Integration of Reconfigurable p‐Bit and 1R Crossbar Array for Memristive Probabilistic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A memristive probabilistic computing system is demonstrated by integrating stochastic p‐bits based on volatile memristors with a 1R crossbar array encoding interaction weights. The system performs weighted‐sum operations across the array and updates p‐bits iteratively.

A COMBINED COMPUTATIONAL/EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF FLUORESCENT GOLD NANOCLUSTER COMPLEXES

open access: yes, 2010
We present a combined computational/experimental study of fluorescent Au nanocluster complexes synthesized using small biological molecules. Using density-functional theory, we calculated the binding energy, HOMO–LUMO gap, charge transfer, and bond ...

Highly Luminescent Gold Nanocluster Frameworks

open access: yes, 2020
Metal nanoclusters (NCs) are being intensely pursued as prospective luminophores because of their tunable electronic and optical properties. Among the various fluorescent NCs, gold nanoclusters (GNCs) are attractive due to their biocompatibility and ...

Multifunctional Manganese Oxide Nanocomposite Hydrogel With Synergistic Reactive Oxygen Species‐Scavenging, Oxygen‐Generating, Immunomodulatory, and Photothermal Antimicrobial Activities for Enhanced Diabetic Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CFP/PC@MnO2 hydrogel integrates ROS scavenging, oxygen delivery, oxidative stress reduction, immunomodulation, and photothermal antibacterial properties. The incorporation of PC@MnO2 NPs endows the hydrogel with multiple functional advantages tailored to the pathological microenvironment of diabetic wounds, including efficient ROS clearance, mitigation

Dynamics and Thermodynamics of Nanoclusters

open access: yesEntropy, 2015
The dynamic and thermodynamic properties of nanoclusters are studied in two different environments: the canonical and microcanonical ensembles. A comparison is made to thermodynamic properties of the bulk.

Passivation of cobalt nanocluster assembled thin films with hydrogen [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The effect of hydrogen passivation on bare and Pd capped cobalt nanocluster assembled thin films was studied with Rutherford backscattering spectrometry (RBS) and magnetic force microscopy (MFM) after exposure to ambient conditions.

Asymmetric Single‐Atom Catalysts Govern Diffusible and Non‐Diffusible Non‐Radical Pathways for Selective Degradation of Antibiotic Resistance Genes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Asymmetric single‐atom metal‐nitrogen‐carbon catalysts modulate the non‐radical pathway during peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation. A fundamental contrast was revealed between diffusible singlet oxygen (1O2) and non‐diffusible electron‐transfer pathways (ETP) in antibiotic resistance gene (ARG) degradation.

Research on Solid Nanocluster NaXe for Making Micro-Excimer Laser

open access: yes, 2017
The novel solid NaXe nanoclusters were prepared. Measurements and calculations indicated that solid NaXe nanocluster has easily vibration- dissociated ground state and stable excited state to emit UV radiation. In the meanwhile the solid nanocluster NaXe

Partial Phase‐Separation in the Initial Growth Stage of Exsolution‐Active SrTi0.95‐xNi0.05NbxO3‐δ Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Phase separation emerges during the initial growth of heavily Ni‐ and Ni,Nb‐co‐doped STO thin films, leading to preferential accumulation of Ni and embedded NiOx nanoinclusions in thicker films. Nb co‐doping partially suppresses the ordering of these embedded structures, comprising about 20% of all Ni ions.

Metal Active‐Site Exposure via Ligand Engineering Boosts CO2‐to‐Ethylene Conversion on Cu18 Nanoclusters

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Through quantitative ligand stripping of [Cu18H17(PR3)10]+ nanoclusters via intramolecular interaction modulation, selectivity for CO2 electroreduction to C2H4 is significantly enhanced. The weakly coordinating ligand triggers dual‐ligand stripping (FEC2H4 = 70.59%), whereas the strongly coordinating ligand results in single‐ligand retention (FEC2H4 ...
