Icosahedral Crown Gold Nanocluster Au43Cu12 with High Catalytic Activity
Structural and catalytic properties of the gold alloy nanocluster Au43Cu12 are investigated using a density-functional method. In contrast to the pure Au55 nanocluster, which exhibits a low-symmetry C1 structure, the 55-atom “crown gold” nanocluster ...

Potential‐controlled NH4+‐assisted reversible electrodeposition of molecular metal oxide clusters enables dynamic solution‐to‐solid electron storage. Leveraging this deposition/dissolution reaction chemistry, polyoxometalate‐based hybrid flow batteries are demonstrated as a new platform for deposition‐based electrochemical energy storage.

Acidic CO2 electroreduction to formic acid is enabled by integrating mixed Sn/SnOx nanoclusters, K+‐regulated interfacial solvation, and Janus wettability. Coordinated control of active sites, interfacial water, and gas‐liquid transport suppresses hydrogen evolution and delivers approximately 85% HCOOH Faradaic efficiency at 400 mA cm−2.

Influence of Halogen–Solvent Hydrogen Bonding on Gold Nanocluster Photoluminescence
The influence of gold nanocluster–solvent interactions on nanostructure optical properties was determined. Using [Au11(BINAP)4X2]+, where X = Cl or Br, as a model system, the dramatic influence of halogen–solvent hydrogen bonding on nanocluster optical ...

A directionally ice‐templated sulfur cathode integrated with atomically dispersed Fe–N4 catalytic sites is developed for high‐performance lithium–sulfur batteries. The structure–catalysis synergy accelerates Li+ transport and polysulfide conversion, leading to high sulfur utilization and stable long‐term cycling performance.
