Electrically Tuning Electromagnetic Wave Shielding in Phase Engineered 1T/2H‐MoS2‐Based Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Sub‐millimeter‐thick phase‐engineered 1T/2H‐MoS2 structures enable electrically tunable electromagnetic interference shielding through active modulation of microwave absorption and reflection. The coexistence of metallic and semiconducting phases, combined with a PVA/KOH gel electrolyte, provides dynamic control over charge transport and interfacial ...

One‐End‐Truncated Au52 and Au70 Quantum Rods: High‐Quantum‐Yield NIR‐II Emitters With Aspect‐Ratio‐Dominated Photophysics

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Two nanoclusters, Au52(PET)38 and Au70(PET)50, where PET = 2‐phenylethanethiolate, are isolated, which constitute a series of one‐end‐truncated kernel topologies. Both Au52 and Au70 exhibit NIR‐II absorption at 1032 and 1275 nm and nanosecond fluorescence at 1100 and 1360 nm, respectively, with high quantum yields (20.9% for Au52 and 14.8% for Au70 ...

Pt‐Mediated Co‐Adsorption of Hydroxyl and Nitrogen‐Heterocyclic Species Over Cu/CuO Heterostructure Enhances Coupled Azotriazole Electrosynthesis and Dual‐Electrode Hydrogen Production

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Pt@Cu/CuO heterostructures were designed for electrochemical N─N coupling of 3,5‐diamino‐1H‐1,2,4‐triazole. Mechanism investigation revealed that the Pt sites mediated co‐adsorption of substrates and hydroxyl on Cu/CuO sites. The elaborate Pt@Cu/CuO achieved an ultralow working potential of 0.832 VRHE with a high FE of 95%. A long‐term stability of 600
