Predictive models successfully screen nanoparticles for toxicity and cellular uptake. Yet, complex biological dynamics and sparse, nonstandardized data limit their accuracy. The field urgently needs integrated artificial intelligence/machine learning, systems biology, and open‐access data protocols to bridge the gap between materials science and safe ...

Efficient photocatalytic nitrate‐to‐ammonia conversion is achieved over an atomically precise Cu4I4 motif through dual‐site cooperation. Lewis‐acidic Cu centers promote nitrate adsorption and activation, while adjacent I sites facilitate active hydrogen generation for stepwise hydrogenation.

Single‐atom growth from [Zr@Sb12]2− to [Zr@Sb13]3− disrupts the closed‐shell S2P6 superatomic configuration and markedly attenuates three‐dimensional (3D) aromaticity. Ultrafast spectroscopy further links stronger spherical aromaticity to slower excited‐state relaxation, establishing an atom‐resolved structure‐aromaticity‐dynamics relationship ...

Safety and Feasibility of Magnetic Separation‐Based Blood Purification
We present the preclinical biological safety and translational feasibility of a magnetic nanoparticle‐based extracorporeal blood purification platform for removal of disease‐causing blood factors. ISO 10993‐compliant studies and exaggerated worst‐case exposure models demonstrate efficient nanoparticle extraction (≥99.9%), favorable biocompatibility ...

This work reports the design of a multifunctional MnOx support coupled with classic Rh catalytic centers for light‐driven dry reforming of methane. Benefiting from efficient photon‐to‐phonon conversion pathway and a dynamic OL‐OV cycle, the catalyst achieves high syngas production rates and light‐to‐chemical energy efficiency without external heating ...

Photo Receiver with Nanocluster Subsystem
The paper considers the effects associated with a change in the properties of a film heterojunction as a result of the introduction of a nanocluster subsystem. Such a modified heterojunction exhibits a spectrally invertible photo ventile effect ...

Selenium nanocluster coatings for anti-cancer, anti-bacterial orthopedic applications
Two common causes leading to bone implant failure are: an insufficient bonding between the implant and surrounding bone and infection. Patients with implant failure often undergo revision surgeries which are costly and painful. Moreover, for patients who

Tailoring the subshell and electronic structure of an atomically precise AuAg alloy nanocluster
Manipulating the atomic-level structure of the subshell of a nanocluster while preserving the inner and outer shell structure is challenging. We present the synthesis and molecular structure of an alkynyl-protected Au34Ag27 nanocluster, which exhibits ...
