Polysorbate 80 – Modulated nanocrystallization for enhancement of griseofulvin solubility

open access: yesGerman Journal of Pharmaceuticals and Biomaterials
Griseofulvin (GRFV1) is used in the treatment of many fungal infections, including ringworm and athlete’s foot, as well as fungal infections of the scalp, fingernails, and toenails. However, its bioavailability is limited by poor water solubility.

Nanoscopic Observation of Structural Changes After First‐Firing Behavior in W/GeTe/W Ovonic Threshold Switches Using AFM Tip–Based Local Biasing

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
A local‐biasing system using AFM induces site‐specific threshold switching in Ge0.17Te0.83 films, enabling direct observation of crystalline/amorphous interface formation. First‐principles calculations reveal that this structural change induces Te 5p‐dominated mid‐gap states and electric field‐enhanced charge redistribution.

Redirecting Nano‐Silicon Agglomeration: Dual‐Carbon Design Triggers Self‐Adaptive Nanoporous Si Sponge for Enhanced Lithium Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 60, 27 July 2026.
This study addresses silicon anode degradation using an engineered nSi/Gr/C dual‐carbon matrix. By restricting SEI infiltration, the architecture redirects silicon agglomeration into a beneficial structural self‐adaptive activation. During cycling, silicon nanoparticles self‐organize into a resilient nanoporous sponge. This dynamic network accommodates

Self-organized hetero-nanodomains actuating super Li+ conduction in glass ceramics

open access: yesNature Communications, 2023
The development of Li2S-P2S5 glass ceramics is greatly hampered by the low room temperature lithium conductivity. Here, the authors propose a nanocrystallization strategy to fabricate super lithium conductive glass ceramics.
