Measurement of Surface Friction of MoS2 on h‐BN and SiO2 Substrates
The nanoscale friction of exfoliated MoS2 on h‐BN and SiO2 substrates is quantitatively compared using lateral force microscopy under dry nitrogen. MoS2 on h‐BN consistently exhibits higher friction and stronger tip sample adhesion than on SiO2, regardless of flake thickness or surface roughness.
