A Flexible Poling‐Free Piezoelectric Energy Harvester Based on Gradient Ti‐Doped BiFeO3 Films

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A self‐aligned polarization is realized in compositional gradient Ti‐doped BiFeO3 films via the formation of defect dipoles and strain gradient. The self‐poling behavior is robust to resist high electric field and elevated temperature. The fabricated poling‐free piezoelectric energy harvester delivers output comparable to the poled ones.

Competitive Cationic Adsorption‐Driven Dynamic Electrostatic Shielding Enables Ultra‐Stable Zn Metal Anodes

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This study investigates the dynamic electrostatic shielding effect driven by competitive cation adsorption and its role in stabilizing zinc anodes for aqueous zinc metal batteries. The preferential adsorption of R+ cations, particularly K+, effectively rearranges the inner Helmholtz layer, modulates the electric field distribution, and weakens zinc ...

Laser‐assisted in situ fabrication of atomically thin Ga2O3 films for dielectric applications

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
A confinement template‐assisted squeeze method, in conjunction with laser‐assisted in situ oxidation, facilitates fabrication of centimeter‐scale and atomically thin gallium oxide films from liquid gallium under room temperature conditions. This low‐damage approach avoids thermal degradation of sensitive materials and supports high‐performance field ...

Enhancing Interfacial Charge Transport in Gold Nanoparticle@Polyaniline Hybrids via N‐Heterocyclic Carbene Linkers

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 26, 22 June 2026.
An amino‐functionalized NHC‐Au complex is employed as a conductive molecular linker to couple large Au NPs with PANI, yielding Au NP@NHC‐PANI hybrids with an electronically well‐defined interface. SAMs of these hybrids reveal enhanced charge transport compared with Au NP@PANI.
