The study of polydimethylsiloxane nanocone distortion in the demolding process using molecular dynamics method

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2022
Experimental results show that after demolding process from the polymethylmethacrylate mold, the poly(dimethlysiloxane) (PDMS) nanocone replica yields 150%–160% larger in height as compared to the mold size dimensions before rupture. The observation from

Chip-scale nanofabrication of single spins and spin arrays in diamond [PDF]

open access: yesNano Lett., Article ASAP (2010), 2010
We demonstrate a technique to nanofabricate nitrogen vacancy (NV) centers in diamond based on broad-beam nitrogen implantation through apertures in electron beam lithography resist. This method enables high-throughput nanofabrication of single NV centers on sub-100 nm length scales.

Nanofabricated media with negative permeability at visible frequencies [PDF]

open access: yesNature 438, 335-338 (2005), 2005
We report a nanofabricated medium made of electromagnetically coupled pairs of gold dots with geometry carefully designed at a 10-nm level. The medium exhibits strong magnetic response at visible-light frequencies, including bands with negative \mu. The magnetism arises due to the excitation of quadrupole plasmon resonances.

Compact model for organic thin-film transistor with Gaussian density of states

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2015
Developing a compact model for organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) would be significant for designing organic circuits. Contrasting the traditional silicon transistors, OTFTs are theorized using hopping transport and a Gaussian density of states.

Ultrasensitive torque detection with an optically levitated nanorotor [PDF]

open access: yesNature Nanotechnology, 15, 89 (2020), 2019
Torque sensors such as the torsion balance enabled the first determination of the gravitational constant by Cavendish and the discovery of Coulomb's law. Torque sensors are also widely used in studying small-scale magnetism, the Casimir effect, and other applications.
