Effecft of co‐doping polyaniline with phosphoric acid and phytic acid on the heat release rate of polyethylene. Abstract Polyolefins, such as polyethylene (PE), are highly flammable and electrically insulative, limiting their applicability. The study explored the flame‐retardancy and electrical conductivity of PE/polyaniline (PE/PANI) nanocomposites ...

Carbon nanotubes in electrospun polyethylene oxide nanofibres: A potential route to conducting nanofibres [PDF]
Polyethylene oxide solution containing multi-walled carbon nanotubes have been electrospun onto a rotating collector to produce highly aligned arrays of electrospun nanofibers ranging in diameters from (200 – 360) nanometres. The addition of a surfactant (Triton X-100)is highly effective in dispersing carbon nanotube within an aqueous solution of ...

In Situ Grown UiO‐66‐NH2 on Nanocellulose Aerogels for Gas Capture
ABSTRACT Sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) decomposition gases are toxic and corrosive, making the removal of these impurities essential for ensuring equipment safety and personnel health. To address this issue, this work developed a robust TEMPO‐oxidised cellulose nanofibril/chitosan (TOCNF/CS)@UiO‐66‐NH2 composite aerogel by in situ growth UiO‐66‐NH2 ...

Centrifugally spun PHBV micro and nanofibres [PDF]
This paper reports the first study on centrifugal spinning of PHBV fibres. Fibres were spun from solution using a range of polymer concentrations, spin speeds and spinneret to collector distances. A PHBV polymer concentration of 25% w/v spun at 9000rmin-1 produced the highest quality fibres, with fibre diameters predominantly in the 0.5-3μm range.

ABSTRACT Background Short Fibre Reinforced Composite resins may be used to restore odontogenic tissues and have enhanced physical and mechanical properties compared with conventional resins. However, their surface characteristics remain a concern, and this has limited their use as direct dental restorative materials.

ABSTRACT Flow capacitive deionisation is an advanced electrochemical technology for water purification and energy‐related applications. It represents a viable alternative to conventional desalination methods due to its low operating voltage, continuous electrode regeneration, and stable performance under moderate‐to‐high salinity conditions. The use of
