Preparation of high crystalline nanoparticles of rare-earth based complex pervoskites and comparison of their structural and magnetic properties with bulk counterparts

open access: yes, 2017
A simple route to prepare Gd$_{0.7}$Sr$_{0.3}$MnO$_3$ nanoparticles by ultrasonication of their bulk powder materials is presented in this article. For comparison, Gd$_{0.7}$Sr$_{0.3}$MnO$_3$ nanoparticles are also prepared by ball milling.

Optically assisted trapping with high-permittivity dielectric rings: Towards optical aerosol filtration

open access: yes, 2016
Controlling the transport, trapping, and filtering of nanoparticles is important for many applications. By virtue of their weak response to gravity and their thermal motion, various physical mechanisms can be exploited for such operations on ...

Anomalous magnetic behavior of CuO nanoparticles [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We report studies on temperature, field and time dependence of magnetization on cupric oxide nanoparticles of sizes 9 nm, 13 nm and 16 nm. The nanoparticles show unusual features in comparison to other antiferromagnetic nanoparticle systems. The field cooled (FC) and zero field cooled (ZFC) magnetization curves bifurcate well above the N\'eel ...

Observation of the Accelerated Diffusion in Nanoparticles of Paradibromobenzene /Paradihlorbenzene Solid Solution [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2009
P-dibromobenzene nanoparticles in a case of paradihlorbenzol molecules have been synthesized. Raman spectrums of these nanoparticles are measured. At diffusion of molecules of paradihlorbenzol in a pdibromobenzene nanoparticle solid solution formed. Modifications in structure of nanoparticles at diffusion are reflected in Raman spectrums.

Nanoparticles as a possible moderator for an ultracold neutron source

open access: yes, 2005
Ultracold and very cold neutrons (UCN and VCN) interact strongly with nanoparticles due to the similarity of their wavelengths and nanoparticles sizes. We analyze the hypothesis that this interaction can provide efficient cooling of neutrons by ultracold

Supershape nanoparticle plasmons [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2017
In this work, we proposed new shape nanoparticles in the name of supershape nanoparticles by manipulation in the morphology of a disk nanoparticle. The electric field distribution of supershape nanoparticles were investigated at resonance wavelength of particle plasmons.
