The Diels‐Alder Reaction as a Mechanistic Probe for Vibrational Strong Coupling

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, Accepted Article.
Vibrational Strong Coupling (VSC) has been reported to alter reaction kinetics. Hypotheses on how it does this have been proposed, but open questions remain regarding the importance of the polarity of the reaction mechanism and of intramolecular vibrational redistribution (IVR), among other factors.

Sensing Pico‐Newton Plasmonic Forces and Jerks of LSPR Biochips Using Simple UV‐Visible Spectroscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
The figure represents the interaction of light interaction with a nanostructured plasmonic system. Incident light excites localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) and induces radiation forces on the nanostructures, as illustrated by the force vectors.

Focused Xe‐Ion Plasma Beam Milling of Coumarin‐153 Single Crystals Into Photonic Cavities–Experimental and Theoretical Investigations

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
The geometrical shaping of coumarin‐153 single crystals into next‐generation disc and ring resonators using Xe‐plasma FIB milling is demonstrated. Optimized beam parameters (30 kV, 100 pA/50 pA) enabled precise fabrication. This approach minimizes structural damage while ensuring high‐quality photonic traits.

Colossal Barocaloric Effects at Triple‐Phase Points

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Colossal barocaloric effects were achieved in odd‐numbered normal alkane systems, such as C17H36, C19H40 and C21H44 approaching triple‐phase point by overlapping two separated phase transitions of ordered‐disordered solid phase transition and solid–liquid phase transition under a relative low pressure.
