Integrated RF Photonic Front‐End Capable of Simultaneous Cascaded Functions
An integrated programmable RF photonic front‐end capable of simultaneous cascaded functions is demonstrated, including notch filtering with true time delay or phase shifting. This work shows the feasibility to achieve cascaded functions within an integrated RF photonic front‐end.

Light-controlled soft bio-microrobot
Micro/nanorobots hold exciting prospects for biomedical and even clinical applications due to their small size and high controllability. However, it is still a big challenge to maneuver micro/nanorobots into narrow spaces with high deformability and ...

Fully exploiting the broad untapped terahertz spectrum necessitates extending the bandwidth of practical guided‐wave systems. This work introduces a substrateless quasi‐optical integration platform to meet this need. Classical optical principles going back to the time of Michelson are adapted to a planar, micro‐machined, monolithic‐silicon platform ...

Huygens metasurface supporting quasi-bound states in the continuum for terahertz gas sensing
We investigate a terahertz (THz) gas sensing platform based on all-dielectric metasurfaces that support quasi-bound states in the continuum (quasi-BIC) with both electric and magnetic dipole resonances.

Spontaneous Parametric Down‐Conversion in 4H‐SiC Integrated Platform
Photon‐pair generation in 4H‐SiC‐on‐insulator integrated platform is demonstrated through spontaneous parametric down conversion. Different second‐order nonlinear interactions are also shown in 4H‐SiC waveguides, highlighting the potential to exploit diverse phase‐matching mechanisms on this platform.
