Continuous‐wave lasing from a small number of perovskite quantum dots is achieved by coupling their photoluminescence to open‐access curved dielectric cavities. This geometry confines their emission into a single optical mode, sharply narrowing linewidths in both spontaneous and lasing regimes.

Nonlinear Control Design for a Piezoelectric-Driven Nanopositioning Stage [PDF]
Abstract : A model-based nonlinear optimal control design is developed and applied to a piezoelectric-driven nanopositioning stage to demonstrate high accuracy displacement control when ferroelectric nonlinearities, hysteresis and relaxation behavior are present in the piezoelectric actuator.

Nonlinear orbital angular momentum (OAM) manipulation is crucial for fundamental physics and information technologies. An integrated lithium niobate platform combining Bragg diffraction and birefringent phase matching asymmetrically generates and controls second‐harmonic OAM beams, achieving a normalized conversion efficiency of 10−2 W−1 and supports a

Large range nanopositioning stage design: A three-layer and two-stage platform
In this article, a novel two-dimensional nanopositioning platform (NanoPla) design is described. Its requirements are not only sub-micrometer accuracy for nanotechnology applications, but also long working range (XY-motion 50 mm × 50 mm). These features increase the common range operation of devices for nanotechnology issues (e.g.

The thermal conversion of the single‐source precursor Mn(H2C3N3O3)2(H2O)4 reveals a sequence of new compounds. One intermediate compound is the second‐harmonic‐generation‐active Mn(HC3N3O3) (MHCY) that appears before pure Mn(CN2) is formed. Two manganese cyanurate compounds, Mn(H2C3N3O3)2(H2O)4 and Mn(H2C3N3O3)2(H2O)7 were prepared and structurally ...
