Printing nanosheet-network transistors

Science, 2017
Device Technology Two-dimensional (2D) materials such as graphene and metal chalcogenides such as tungsten diselenide (WSe2) are attractive for use in low-cost thin-film transistors (TFTs) because they have high charge-carrier mobility. Kelly et al. printed TFTs from networks of exfoliated dispersions of 2D materials with graphene contacts, WSe2 as the

Polyaniline/graphite nanosheet, polyaniline/Ag/graphite nanosheet, polyaniline/Ni/graphite nanosheet composites and their electromagnetic properties

Synthetic Metals, 2012
Abstract The polyaniline/graphite nanosheets (PANI/NanoG), polyaniline/silver plating graphite nanosheets (PANI/Ag-NanoG) and polyaniline/nickel plating graphite nanosheets (PANI/Ni-NanoG) composites have been synthesized. The three kinds of polyaniline/graphite nanosheets composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction techniques (XRD), Fourier ...

Ultrawide ZnO nanosheets

Journal of Materials Chemistry, 2004
Ultrawide ZnO nanosheets together with their formation mechanism have been reported. As the width and thickness of the sheets are in the range of 50–100 µm and 50–100 nm respectively, the width-to-thickness ratios of the sheets reach up to one thousand.

Strained Nickel Phosphide Nanosheet Array

ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, 2018
We develop strained nickel phosphide nanosheets with 5 nm thickness and several hundreds of nanometers lateral size aligned on the top of nickel foam/nickel sulfide support. The material is characteristic of substantial compressive strain of 5.6% along nickel-phosphorus bond length, originated from the in situ topotactic transformation.

Ultrathin septuple layered PbBi2Se4 nanosheets

Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, 2014
Layered lead bismuth selenide, PbBi2Se4, an intergrowth compound of PbSe (rocksalt) and Bi2Se3 (hexagonal), is a topological insulator in the bulk phase. We present a simple solution based synthesis of two dimensional (2D) few seven atomic (septuple) layered PbBi2Se4 nanosheets (4-7 nm thick) for the first time.

N Doping of Oxide Nanosheets

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2009
Photo-N doping for Nb-O system oxide nanosheets such as Nb(6)O(17), TINbO(5), and Ca(2)Nb(3)O(10) was succeeded in by treatment under mild conditions, where their H-restacked forms containing tetrabuthylammonium (TBA) ion were illuminated by UV light at room temperature.

Single Nanosheet Photoelectrochemistry

ECS Meeting Abstracts, 2018
Nanoflake thin films made of layered semiconducting transition metal dichalcogenides such as MoSe2 are promising large-area electrodes for photoelectrochemical solar energy conversion applications. However, their energy conversion efficiencies are typically much lower than bulk electrodes.
