A scalable nano‐/micro‐confinement strategy is developed, where polyacrylamide (PAM)‐LiCl hybrid desiccants are confined within hollow nanoparticles (HNPs) and assembled into raspberry‐like microbeads. The beads have a hydrogel‐rich core and an NP‐rich shell for fast absorption and desorption, releasing water 13.6 L kg⁻¹ day⁻¹.

Nanotubes, the last in the focus of scientists in a series of 'all carbon' materials discovered over the last several decades are the most interesting and have the greatest potential. This review aims at presenting in a concise manner the considerable amount of knowledge accumulated since the discovery of this amazing form of solid carbon, particularly

Wood‐based broadband blackbody is achieved by reconfiguration of wood with lignin nanoparticles prior carbonization. Neglectable reflectivity from the visible to infrared wavelengths is obtained by combining thin nanostructures originated from the wood cell walls with long‐range microcavities in the wood lumina.

Controlled syntheses of lanthanide coordination polymers based on the dihydroxybenzoquinone (DHBQ) organic linker afforded large single crystals of Ln‐DHBQ CPs (Ln = Yb, Nd). A novel structural variant of Yb‐DHBQ is identified by means of single crystal diffraction analysis.

Double Helical Plasmonic Antennas
Plasmonic double helical antennas funnel circularly polarized light to the nanoscale, offering strong chiroptical interaction and directional light emission. Extending a single helix design tool, this study combines numerical modeling with experimental validation, revealing large, broadband dissymmetry factors in the visible range.
