[Endourological imaging with narrow band imaging].
Der Urologe. Ausg. A, 2012Narrow band imaging (NBI) is an optical diagnostic procedure which utilizes the narrowing of the wavelength of visible light in the range between 415 and 550 nm. The NBI is mostly used for the diagnostics of inflammation or tumors of the gastrointestinal tract.

Narrow-Band Imaging Evaluation of Bladder Tumors
Current Urology Reports, 2014Narrow-band imaging (NBI) is a novel optical method designed to enhance visual detection of bladder tumors over conventional white-light imaging (WLI) cystoscopy. Current experience with NBI cystoscopy in evaluating and treating non-muscle-invasive bladder tumors is reviewed.

Advances in endoscopic imaging: narrow band imaging.
Reviews in gastroenterological disorders, 2008Technological advances in endoscopic imaging are constantly being evaluated in clinical research, and encouraging results are being seen. Studies on practical applications of these new technologies are ongoing in conditions as diverse as gastroesophageal reflux disease, Barrett's esophagus, colonic polyps, and dysplasia in ulcerative colitis.
