Light-cone sum rules for B → K π form factors and applications to rare decays

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We derive a set of light-cone sum rules relating the hadronic form factors relevant for B → Kπℓ + ℓ − decays to the B-meson light-cone distribution amplitudes (LCDAs).

Atomic Size Misfit for Electrocatalytic Small Molecule Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review explores the application and mechanisms of atomic size misfit in catalysis for small molecule activation, focusing on how structural defects and electronic properties can effectively lower the energy barriers of chemical bonds in molecules like H2O, CO2, and N2.

Wealth Distribution Under Power Trading Frequencies and Transitions of Agents

open access: yesEntropy
We construct a kinetic model to investigate transactions among two populations from different countries. In our model, power collision kernels and a transfer operator are introduced into the Boltzmann equation.

Rational Fine‐Tuning of MOF Pore Metrics: Enhanced SO2 Capture and Sensing with Optimal Multi‐Site Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A pore tuning strategy to amplify the multi‐site MOF‐SO2 interactions is proposed to achieve an enhanced trace SO2 capture and chemiresistive sensing in highly stable isostructural DMOFs by annelating benzene rings. This work provides a facile strategy to achieve tailor‐made stable MOF materials for specific multifunctional applications.

Narrowing Operators on Template Abstract Domains

open access: yes, 2015
In the theory of abstract interpretation, a descending phase may be used to improve the precision of the analysis after a post-fixpoint has been reached. Termination is often guaranteed by using narrowing operators. This is especially true on numerical domains, since they are generally endowed with infinite descending chains which may lead to a non ...

Enhancing CoFe Catalysts with V2CTX MXene‐Derived Materials for Anion Exchange Membrane Electrolyzers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
MXene dervied CoFe composites show increased initial Oxygen Evolution Reaction (OER) activity compared to the pure CoFe and MXene in an Anion Exchange Membrane device. Vanadium vacancies in the MXene plays a role in increased OER activity and hinders Fe leaching in the AEM device over using the pure V2C MXene as a support material for the CoFe ...
