Deep Room Recognition Using Inaudible Echos
Recent years have seen the increasing need of location awareness by mobile applications. This paper presents a room-level indoor localization approach based on the measured room's echos in response to a two-millisecond single-tone inaudible chirp emitted

A compact microwave sensing system is proposed based on active Fano resonance utilizing injection‐locked oscillation. The Q‐factor is enhanced from 51 to 115,397, and resonance intensity increases from 19 dB to 68 dB. It achieves a resolution of 10 mg/dL over a 100–400 mg/dL range, showing excellent performance in real‐time in vitro sensing validation.

State of the Art of Low‐Frequency Acoustic Modulation: Intensity Enhancement and Directional Control
High intensity low‐frequency sound sources hold significant value in many fields. However, their long wavelength, strong penetrability, and tendency to diffract make direction control and intensity enhancement challenging. Acoustic generators and metamaterial‐based acoustic devices still face issues such as low energy efficiency, poor directional ...

We introduce a novel model of an IRS‐assisted MU‐MISO‐OFDMA system. We aim to jointly optimize beamforming vectors, IRS reflection coefficients, and OFDM subcarrier allocation to maximize the overall sum rate. ABSTRACT In this article, we propose a novel resource allocation strategy for multiuser multiple‐input single‐output orthogonal frequency ...
