의학과/석사[한글] 비(扉) packing은 비출혈이나 비수술 후의 지혈에 기본적으로 사용되는 처치법으로서 packing자체는 하나의 이물이므로 그에 의한 국소적 혹은 전신적인 영향을 무시할 수 없다. 국소적인 영향으로 비점막에 염증성 변화를 일으켜 상피세포와 배세포(Goblet cell) 및 혈관이 증식되고 염증세포가 침윤하는 등의 일반적인 염증반응이 일어나는데 packing의 유치기간이 지속될수록 염증성 변화에 따르는 위험성이 높다고 하겠다.
