Comparing the effects of intravenous injection and intranasal atomisation of detomidine in sheep
This paper compares the intravenous and intranasal routs of Detomidine administration in sheep. Abstract Background Detomidine is an α‐2 agonist sedative drug which reduces the release of norepinephrine in nerves. Administering this drug through intranasal (IN) route could cause direct transmission to the central nervous system.

Dipole Septum Magnet in the Fast Kicker System for Multi-Axis Advanced Radiography [PDF]
Here we present designs for a static septum magnet with two adjacent apertures where ideally one aperture has a uniform dipole field and the other zero field. Two designs are considered. One is a true septum magnet with a thin layer of coils and materials separating the dipole field region from the null field region.

A Concept For Cancelling The Leakage Field Inside The Stored Beam Chamber Of A Septum Magnet [PDF]
The Advanced Photon Source is in the process of up-grading its storage ring from a double-bend to a multi-bend lattice as part of the APS Upgrade Project (APS-U). A swap-out injection scheme is planned for the APS-U to keep a constant beam current and to enable a small dynamic aperture.
