Stable Coalition-Governments: The Case of Three Political Parties [PDF]
We explore to what extent we can propose fixed negotiation rules as well as simple mechanisms (or protocols) that guarantee that political parties can form stable coalition-governments.

ABSTRACT Introduction Management of hepatic encephalopathy relies on the identification and control of precipitating factors (PF). The prognostic value of a PF is unknown, which we aimed to explore. Patients and Methods Single‐center retrospective study of cirrhotic patients included in a prospective cohort admitted to an intensive care unit (ICU ...

Implementation with evidence [PDF]
We generalize the canonical problem of Nash implementation by allowing agents to voluntarily provide discriminatory signals, i.e. evidence. Evidence can either take the form of hard information or, more generally, have differential but non-prohibitive ...

Abstract The increasing uncertainty caused by volatile renewable generation and random electricity demand has always been a critical challenge in power system operations. Robust optimization (RO) is a powerful tool for effectively addressing this uncertainty. As the interplay between uncertain factors and decision‐making becomes more prevalent, RO with

Secure Implementation Experiments: Do Strategy-proof Mechanisms Really Work? [PDF]
Strategy-proofness, requiring that truth-telling is a dominant strategy, is a standard concept used in social choice theory. Saijo et al. (2003) argue that this concept has serious drawbacks. In particular, many strategy-proof mechanisms have a continuum

Spectral normalization generative adversarial networks for photovoltaic power scenario generation
This paper integrates the spectral normalization method into the discriminator network to enhance the training stability of the network. Through simulations of centralized photovoltaic power station scenarios, the effectiveness of the selected methods is validated.
