The study develops elastin–fibrin scaffolds and evaluates angiogenesis using the chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) model. Advanced imaging with confocal microscopy and Indocyanine Green dye enables precise 3D quantification of vascular networks. Findings demonstrate superior microvessel visualization compared to micro‐CT using Microfil and Optiray 350 ...

Association between vitamin C in serum and trouble sleeping based on NHANES 2017–2018
Vitamin C is an important micronutrient for human. Association between vitamin C and trouble sleeping was less studied. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the possible link between vitamin C in serum and trouble sleeping.

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Nutrient Intakes [PDF]
The socioeconomic determinants of Food Stamp Program participation and the effects of program participation on nutrient intakes are investigated, using data from the 2003–04 and 2005–06 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES).

A potent anionic citric acid‐based 3D‐printed scaffold is developed for the sustained and controlled release of orthobiologics to enhance orthopedic therapeutic efficacy. Comprehensive in vivo studies demonstrated effective bone fusion and high safety at a low dose of BMP‐2 delivered by the system, establishing it as a promising platform for safe ...

Bayesian correction for covariate measurement error: a frequentist evaluation and comparison with regression calibration [PDF]
Bayesian approaches for handling covariate measurement error are well established, and yet arguably are still relatively little used by researchers. For some this is likely due to unfamiliarity or disagreement with the Bayesian inferential paradigm.

The pre‐internalization phase of endocytosis remains poorly characterized at single‐cell levels. Single‐cell pre‐internalization mechanics are investigated using advanced robotic techniques. Cancer cells exhibit biphasic adhesion – rapid initial binding followed by reinforcement – while fibroblasts show gradual engagement.

Urinary phytoestrogens and cancer, cardiovascular, and all-cause mortality in the continuous National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey [PDF]
Purpose Experimental studies suggest that phytoestrogen intake alters cancer and cardiovascular risk. This study investigated the associations of urinary phytoestrogens with total cancer (n = 79), cardiovascular (n = 108), and all-cause (n = 290 ...

Tunable Synthetic Hydrogel Modulates Hepatic Lineage Specification of Human Liver Organoid
In this study, a synthetic hydrogel is reported that supports the formation of hiPSC‐derived human liver organoids (HLOs). Hepatic lineage specification can be modulated via conjugation of RGD peptide to hydrogel: RGD‐conjugated hydrogels promote cholangiocyte differentiation, whereas RGD‐free hydrogels favor hepatocyte commitment of HLO cells.
