U Nacionalnom parku Mljet utvrđeno je tijekom istraživanja provedenog od 1995. do 2002. godine 130 vrsta školjkaša iz 38 porodica. Na 63 obalne postaje školjkaši su bilježeni i sakupljani metodom autonomnog ronjenja, do dubine od 58 m.

Echinoderms of the Mljet National Park from all kinds of environments have been reviewed. In the summer season from 1995-2002 research was carried out at 63 sites by SCUBA and skin diving along transects up to a maximum 58 m depth. Deeper, at 21 stations, specimens were collected by a Van Veen grab.

There is a lack of knowledge on bivalve species in the lake Malo jezero. This paper deals with spatial distribution of bivalves with the aim of getting better understanding of ecological conditions in this protected area. A study of bivalves was conducted at 25 stations in saltwater lake Malo jezero in 1998.

Six brachiopod species (1 inarticulate and 5 articulates) are identified and briefly described from Mljet National Park. All are known from the Mediterranean Sea and eastern North Atlantic. The number of taxa is lower than that for the Adriatic Sea (11 species) as a whole, suggesting that further discoveries might be expected in Mljet.
