Native gold of the Priamurskaya Province

open access: yesZapiski RMO (Proceedings of the Russian Mineralogical Society), 2019
The paper displays data on typomorphic features of native gold in ore deposits and placers of the Priamurskaya Province (Amur River Region). It was revealed that distribution of the number of placers with a certain gold fineness is the unimodal one with a maximum in the range of 850—925 units.

Microscopic evidence for nanoparticle-mediated growth of native gold in sulfide deposits at the Higashi-Aogashima Knoll Caldera hydrothermal field. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE
Gold (or electrum) in hydrothermal fluid precipitates directly from gold sulfide complex and/or partly via suspended nanoparticles. The hydrothermal fluid contains "invisible gold" that is atomically dispersed in sulfide minerals or as nanoparticles with

Chemical and physical heterogeneity within native gold: implications for the design of gold particle studies

open access: yesMineralium Deposita, 2021
Studies of populations of gold particles are becoming increasingly common; however, interpretation of compositional data may not be straightforward. Natural gold is rarely homogenous.

Flotation behavior of native gold and gold-bearing sulfide minerals in a polymetallic gold ore

open access: yesParticulate Science and Technology, 2021
In this study, the flotation behaviors of gold and gold-associated sulfide minerals (pyrite and sphalerite) in a polymetallic sulfide gold ore were investigated using flotation kinetics parameters....

Assessing gold-bearing potential of the Kvarhush area (Western slope of the Urals, Perm krai) [PDF]

open access: yesМинералогия
The paper examines the morphology and composition of native gold from placers of the Kvarkush region (Perm krai). Using optical and electron microscopy, 149 native gold grains from three placers are studied.

MINERALOGY OF HOST ROCKS OF THE OSINOVSKOE GOLD-QUARTZ DEPOSIT (CENTRAL URALS) [PDF]

open access: yesМинералогия, 2023
The paper describes the mineralogy of mica shales of the Osinovskoe gold deposit in the Central Urals. Our studies unraveled the role of dynamometamorphism in the transformation of primary rocks and allowed the characterization of their metasomatic ...
