Morphological characteristics and chemical composition of placer gold from the Kengevey River basin and first data on associated platinum-metal mineralization (Magadan region)

open access: yesВестник Камчатской региональной ассоциации "Учебно-научный центр". Серия: Науки о Земле, 2023
The paper presents the results of the study of typomorphic characteristics of placer gold of the tributaries of the Kengeveem River, Magadan region. Placer gold was studied by optical and scanning electron microscopy at the Institute of Volcanology and ...

Clinical performance of the urine‐based TERT promoter AbsoluteQ Digital PCR for non‐invasive detection of bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Detection of recent myocardial infarction using native T1 Mapping in a swine model: a validation study

open access: yes, 2018
Late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) imaging is the currently the gold standard for in-vivo detection of myocardial infarction. However, gadolinium contrast administration is contraindicated in patients with renal insufficiency.

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Geological and structural position of the Svetlinsky gold deposit (Southern Urals)

open access: yesЗаписки Горного института, 2022
The paper presents the geological and structural position of the large Svetlinsky gold deposit in the Kochkar anticline (Southern Urals), localized in the zone of the Late Paleozoic (D3) deep thrust of the western dip.

Identifying transcription factors controlling the basal expression of human MRP4 highlights a substantial role for Sp1

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.
