Electric-Field Noise above a Thin Dielectric Layer on Metal Electrodes [PDF]
The electric-field noise above a layered structure composed of a planar metal electrode covered by a thin dielectric is evaluated and it is found that the dielectric film considerably increases the noise level, in proportion to its thickness. Importantly,

Herein, environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM) is discussed as a powerful extension of conventional SEM for life sciences. By combining high‐resolution imaging with variable pressure and humidity, ESEM allows the analysis of untreated biological materials, supports in situ monitoring of hydration‐driven changes, and advances the functional ...

This work discusses the use of blended channel materials in OECTs. It explores how mixing glycolated and alkoxylated polymers in various ratios offers a simpler and more efficient route to tuning OECT properties. The performance of the polymer blends is compared to the corresponding copolymers, demonstrating similar OECT characteristics, swelling ...

Contrasting Surficial Composition of Native Gold from Two Different Types of Gold Ore Deposits [PDF]
Native gold grains sampled at two different gold ore deposits in Eastern Russia have been studied by the techniques of electron spectroscopy (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and Auger electron spectroscopy (AES)), electron microprobe analysis (EMPA), and scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry (SEM-EDX).

For the first time, a highly sensitive electrochemical biosensor based on SiO2‐based hairy particles with a grafted PDMAEMA polymer brush containing a quantifiable and large amount of immobilized Laccase is reported. The fabricated biosensor exhibits a sensitivity of 0.14 A·m⁻¹, a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.1 µm, and a detection range of 0.3–750 µm,

Bismuth-silver mineralization in the Sergozerskoe gold occurrence [PDF]
Bismuth-silver mineralization attendant to gold mineralization in the Sergozerskoe gold occurrence has been studied in detail. Bi-Ag mineralization is connected with diorite porphyry dykes, which cut volcanic-sedimentary Lopian complexes of the Strel ...

Native gold of the Priamurskaya Province
The paper displays data on typomorphic features of native gold in ore deposits and placers of the Priamurskaya Province (Amur River Region). It was revealed that distribution of the number of placers with a certain gold fineness is the unimodal one with a maximum in the range of 850—925 units.
