Nonlinear analysis of a rectangular natural circulation loop
International Communications in Heat and Mass Transfer, 2000Abstract The aim of this paper is to present a novel approach to the analysis of the dynamical evolution of a rectangular natural circulation loop heated from below. During an experimental phase nonlinear temperature oscillations were detected at different location and for various unstable operating conditions of the loop.

On the nature of circulating lipoproteins of intestinal origin in the rat
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Lipids and Lipid Metabolism, 1970Abstract 1. 1. The size distribution of intestinal lymph and plasma lipoproteins in rats on a fat-free diet and after fat feeding was determined by analytical and preparative density gradient ultracentrifugation, and discrete subfractions were analyzed for lipids and protein.

Supercritical Natural Circulation Loop
2017Supercritical natural circulation loop is a compelling technology for cooling of modern nuclear reactors, which promises enhanced thermalhydraulic performance in a simple design. Being a new concept, related knowledge base is relatively thin and involves several conflicting theories and controversies.

Abstract In this paper, the simulation model of a flashing-driven natural circulation integrated pressurized water reactor is established based on RELAP5/Mod3.4 code. The distinctive characteristics involved in the reactor, such as flashing-driven natural circulation and self-pressurization, are revealed.

Natural circulation in horizontal pipes
International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, 1977Abstract Natural circulation in a horizontal pipe with one end connected to the hot main pipe and one end closed can create a substantial temperature gradient axially and circumferentially. The temperature distribution around such a pipe can be predicted by solving the conservation equations inside the pipe and energy equation around the pipe.

Journal of Engineering for Gas Turbines and Power, 2008
This paper reports on an experimental investigation on natural circulation and air-injection enhanced circulation performed adopting different fluids. This work is aimed at providing information on the basic mechanisms proposed in the design of future reactors relying on such circulation mechanisms for core cooling.

Circulating Anticoagulant in a Haemophiliac (Evidence for Antibody Nature)
Scandinavian Journal of Haematology, 1966A case of haemophilia A with a circulating anticoagulant is reported. The anticoagulant arose during the management after dental extractions. In agreement with findings by other authors, the anticoagulant was localized to the 7‐S‐(gamma‐G)‐globulins and possibly also to the 19‐S‐(gamma‐M)‐globulins. This localization and the observed zone phenomenon in

The yearly circulation of sulfur in nature
Journal of Geophysical Research, 1963Though the circulation of sulfur in nature is more complicated and extensive than was realized earlier, it is possible to represent it in a semiquantitative way. The outstanding conclusion of this analysis is the importance of the biosphere, both in the oceans and on land, in the circulation which so far has masked the industrial production to a large ...
