Prediction of oil-water mixing laws in oil-water replacement of product oil pipeline

open access: yesYou-qi chuyun, 2021
In order to study the oil-water mixing law in the oil-water replacement of product oil pipeline and to reduce the oil-water mixture produced in the process, a numerical model of the oil-water replacement of a product oil pipeline in Yunnan was ...

Numerical simulation on deposition evolution of natural gas hydrate in pipeline

open access: yesYou-qi chuyun, 2022
The traditional Euler-Euler fluid model is to predict the flow and deposition of two phases by approximating the hydrate particles as a fluid phase, but does not consider the effect of particle formation caused by phase change in the flow process. Herein,

Risk Assessment of River-Channel Washout Disasters for Long-Distance Oil and Gas Pipelines Considering Storm-Induced Flood Scour Effects

open access: yesApplied Sciences
River-channel washout is one of the common geological hazards threatening the safety of long-distance oil and gas pipelines, particularly under storm-flood conditions, when pipeline sections crossing rivers and gullies are more susceptible to damage ...
