Physics‐Constrained Constitutive Learning of Rate‐Limiting Timescales for Efficient Hydrogen‐Based Direct Reduction for Green Steel Making

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. The analysis reveals how late‐stage transport control emerges

Parameter sensitivity analysis of the axial stability for a marine flexible pipe

open access: yesPetroleum
Marine unbonded flexible pipes serve as the most essential equipment in offshore oil and gas exploration and exploitation. Axial compressive loads during installation or in service in the complex marine environment usually lead to buckling failure.

Liquified Natural Gas Send-Out Scenario in Gas Transmission Pipeline Network

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science
Abstract The depletion of gas reserves from conventional wells is the cause of the decrease in supply. If these problems are not overcome, there will be a pressure drop that causes damage to the transmission pipeline network. Therefore, adding LNG is needed by increasing the supply (send out), which must meet the West Java Area peak load

Flow Measurement of Natural Gas in Pipeline Based on 1D-Convolutional Neural Network [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, 2020
Time-difference method is a vitally significant algorithm for measuring natural gas flow with ultrasonic gas flowmeter. The key of this algorithm is to accurately measure the arrival time of ultrasonic signal. However, it is difficult to determine the feature points corresponding to the arrival time stably and accurately.

Neuromorphic Near‐Sensor and In‐Sensor Computing Enabled by Next‐Generation Material‐Based Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This Review presents a structural framework that classifies neuromorphic sensing into near‐sensor and in‐sensor architectures, clarifying physical coupling between sensing and computation. The framework connects neural and synaptic device functions with recent advances in optical, mechanical, and chemical sensing, compares energy consumption and ...

Large Language Model‐Informed Dual‐Track AI Framework for the Synergistic Design of Crack‐Free and High‐Strength Superalloys

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This paper illustrates a knowledge‐augmented dual‐track AI framework for advanced superalloy design. First, Large Language Models translate metallurgical heuristics into explicit rules to rapidly prune a vast compositional search space. Subsequently, LLM‐distilled priors safely guide a reinforcement learning agent during autonomous process optimization,

How Proton Incorporation Reshapes Lattice Dynamics In BaSnO3‐Type Proton Conductors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Yttrium‐doped BaSnO3 exhibits isotope‐dependent changes in its low‐energy vibrational density of states upon hydration. Comparison of dry, H2O‐, and D2O‐treated samples re‐veals mass‐dependent phonon renormalization linked to proton dynamics near oxygen va‐cancies, providing experimental insight into hydrogen‐coupled lattice excitations in proton ...

Preliminary study on intelligent control of natural gas pipeline networks

open access: yesYou-qi chuyun, 2021
As the "decision-making brain" of a pipeline network system, the control centre is a comprehensive decision-making control centre that integrates large amounts of data, rules and expert experience. It is very similar to the development idea and evolution direction of a new generation of artificial intelligence characterized by data driving. Herein, the

Graphene (0002)/Diamond (111) Heterojunction with High Piezoresistive Response

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Graphene/diamond heterostructures show promise as silicon alternatives for semiconductors, but high‐quality integration is challenging. Thermal electron irradiation enables covalent bonding; lonsdaleite acts as an intermediate. The heterostructure exhibits a high piezoresistive response (gauge factor −1149) associated with electron‐rich layers and ...
