Raising lambs on natural and cultivated pastures in the conditions of Lapland

open access: yesAgricultural and Food Science, 1981
The growth of lambs on natural and cultiavated pastures was studied in 1979—1980 in northern Lapland at 69°40’ N and 27° 05’ E. The natural pasture was a peninsula covered by various wild grasses, bearing willow and birth and with sedge and horsetail by the shore. On the cultivated pasture timothy predominated. The experiments started in mid June, when

CMOS‐Integrated Synaptic Photoreceptor Chip Inspired by Insect Visual Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CMOS‐integrated Si QDs/ReS2 synaptic photoreceptor array mimics the parallel processing and wavelength‐selective strategy of insect vision. By combining intrinsic ultraviolet‐violet sensitivity with synaptic plasticity, the chip enables frontend sensory redundancy reduction without external filters, offering a scalable pathway toward lowpower ...

Effects of winter-feeding on reindeer’s future ability to utilize natural pastures [Elektronisk resurs]

open access: yes
Winter feeding of reindeer (Rangifer tarandus tarandus) has become an increasingly common management action in reindeer husbandry in Sweden, Finland, and Norway when natural grazing resources are unavailable due to the loss of grazing grounds ...

SpaMode: A Broadly Applicable Framework for Deciphering Spatial Multi‐Omics Using Multimodal Mixture of Disentangled Experts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SpaMode introduces a versatile framework for spatial multi‐omics integration across vertical, horizontal, and mosaic scenarios. By disentangling modality‐invariant and variant features through a mixture‐of‐experts mechanism, it adaptively reconfigures spatially heterogeneous signals.

Helical Electron Beam Micro‐Bunching by High‐Order Modes in a Micro‐Plasma Waveguide

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Electron acceleration by a high‐power Laguerre‐Gaussian pulse in a micro‐plasma waveguide is investigated. When the incident laser travels in the waveguide, electrons on the wall are extracted into the vacuum core and accelerated by the longitudinal field of the waveguide mode.

SERRATE Regulates Floral Meristem Activity by Antagonizing SHOOT MERISTEMLESS and Repressing Cytokinin Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Floral meristem (FM) activity is crucial for the initiation of floral organs. In this study, SE represses IPT7 expression and cytokinin signaling via both the miR171c‐5p–KNAT2 and miR164c–CUC1/2–KNAT2 regulatory modules, thereby repressing FM activity. In contrast, STM induces both KNAT2 and IPT7 expression.
