The Use of Natural Refrigerants in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems: A Review
The refrigeration and air-conditioning sector is now undergoing a crucial phase where all the existing conventional refrigerants are being permitted to be neither produced nor consumed. For a better future, there is an immediate demand to look for clean refrigerants which are eco-friendly.

Universal Conductance Fluctuations in Quantum Anomalous Hall Insulators
Universal conductance fluctuations are observed in mesoscopic quantum anomalous Hall insulators. Two distinct fluctuation patterns are identified, arising from different interference processes of bulk and chiral edge states, respectively. These findings unveil rich quantum interference phenomena in quantum anomalous Hall insulators and provide insights

This study investigates friction and wear of AISI 52100 steel under dry sliding in CO2, air, and N2 atmospheres, with and without contact electrification. CO2 forms a stable carbon‐rich tribofilm that reduces friction by ∼30% and wear by ∼85%. High‐resolution TEM, EELS, and molecular dynamics reveal pressure‐dependent lubrication mechanisms, showing ...
