Cursing the blessings? Natural resource abundance, institutions, and economic growth [PDF]
Since Sachs and Warner's (1995a) contribution, there has been a lively debate on the so-called natural resource curse. This paper re-examines the effects of natural resource abundance on economic growth using new measures of resource endowment and ...

Decrypting cancer's spatial code: from single cells to tissue niches
Spatial transcriptomics maps gene activity across tissues, offering powerful insights into how cancer cells are organised, switch states and interact with their surroundings. This review outlines emerging computational, artificial intelligence (AI) and geospatial approaches to define cell states, uncover tumour niches and integrate spatial data with ...

A Dynamic Game on Renewable Natural Resource Exploitation [PDF]
This paper studies oligopolistic firms’ exploitation of a renewable natural resource in a differential game. It is well known that finding Markov perfect equilibrium in differential games is extremely difficult except for games that are linear-quadratic.

Using multi‐omic characterization, we aimed to identify key regulators specific to squamous cell lung carcinoma (SqCC). SqCC‐specific differentially expressed genes were integrated with metabolics data. High expression of the creatine transporter SLC6A8, along with elevated creatine levels, appeared to be a distinct metabolic feature of SqCC.

Experimental Study of Discharge Coefficient at the Dentate Trapezoidal Labyrinth Weir
One of the crucial problems that exist in the irrigation networks is the fluctuation of the water surface flow in the main channel and changes in the flow rate of the intake structure.
