In this continuation of our study on the chemical evolution of H _2 O:O _2 ices (6:1 ratio) under analog cosmic-ray irradiation (0.8 MeV H ^+ ) at 9, 50, and 100 K, we investigate changes in the reaction pathways that influence the formation and ...

Tunable High‐Performance Metamaterial Filters Based on Novel SRR Architectures
Based on two novel SRR configurations and two independent SRR integration approaches, four tunable bandpass metamaterial filters were fabricated with an ultra‐thin ceramic substrate. Among them, SM‐2 achieves over 97% electromagnetic wave transmittance, with a minimal 1.15% deviation in its resonant frequency prediction, making them promising ...

Experimental Examination of Brine and Water Lifetimes after Impact on Airless Worlds
The role played by transient impact-induced endogenous brines in the formation of geomorphic features has been proposed on airless worlds such as Europa, Vesta, and Ceres, as well as on worlds with thin atmospheres such as Mars.

Molecular dipole engineering in dendritic perylene diimide polymers through nitrogen‐rich heterocyclic linkers amplifies the built‐in electric field, enabling sub‐picosecond charge separation and efficient multi‐electron accumulation. This structure–dynamics–performance relationship establishes a versatile design strategy for high‐performance organic ...

An Efficient Method for Measuring the Color of a Natural Satellite with Astrometric Applications
The Gaia DR3 catalog released in 2022 contains precise broadband photometry for more than one billion stars in the G , BP, and RP passbands, which is very useful for calibrating the differential color refraction (DCR) effect in ground-based observations.

This work constructed a tandem W−N−C center to simultaneously achieve the regulation of reaction pathways and optimization of charge separation efficiency. The Lewis‐acidic W6+ sites activated O2 to generate O2−$O_2^ - $, with enhanced charge separation via electronic modulation, steering U(VI) reduction down an efficient radical pathway.

The influence of hypothetical exomoons on planetary thermal phase curves
Context. More than 200 moons exist in our Solar System, yet no exomoon has been confirmed to date. While the innermost two planets of the Solar System lack natural satellites and most studies favour the existence of exomoons around long-period planets ...

Optimizing the heterointerface coverage of the conducting Ni2P nanoparticles on the surface of BVO photoanode manipulates the surface Fermi‐level modulation, which significantly enhances photoelectrochemical oxygen evolution reaction. Our multiscale simulations and experimental results reveal that an optimal Ni2P coverage of 9.4% pins the surface Fermi

An exogenous reagent‐free dual‐substrate strategy harnesses phenol as an intrinsic electron donor to drive synchronous phenol degradation and Cr(VI) reduction over modified carbon nitride. π–π stacking and hydrogen bonding direct electron transfer to the catalyst, enriching photogenerated electrons and accelerating Cr(VI) reduction 6.4‐fold. This waste‐

The integration of rare‐metal neodymium centers to engineer Lewis acid sites with nickel centers is proposed as highly efficient UOR catalysts. ABSTRACT The sluggish kinetics of the urea oxidation reaction (UOR) are strongly associated with the high energy barriers required for the C‐N cleavage and N‐N coupling steps.
