RELA Ablation Contributes to Progression of Hepatocellular Carcinoma with TP53R249S Mutation and is a Potential Therapeutic Target

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Genome‐wide CRISPR/Cas9 based screening identified RELA as a key tumor suppressor in TP53R249S‐mutant HCC. Its loss promotes tumorigenesis and metastasis via DVL1‐mediated Wnt/β‐catenin activation, while its agonist betulinic acid suppresses tumor progression.

Theoretical simulation of natural air exchange and indoor air quality with an example of a green wall introduction

open access: yesResults in Engineering
Nowadays, most modern buildings have mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. But old buildings are equipped with natural ones. Some modern houses are equipped with automatic window control to save energy. Therefore, natural ventilation is topical.

PVC Nanoplastics Exposure Exacerbates Asthma through R‐Loop Accumulation and Subsequent STING Activation in Macrophages

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) nanoplastics (NPs) are shown to aggravate allergic airway inflammation in asthma by triggering R‐loop accumulation and activating the cGAS‐STING pathway in macrophages. This study reveals a novel immunotoxic mechanism linking environmental plastic exposure to asthma pathogenesis and highlights potential molecular targets for ...
