Machine Learning‐Enhanced Modular Ionic Skin for Broad‐Spectrum Multimodal Discriminability in Bidirectional Human–Robot Interaction

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A machine learning‐enhanced modular ionic skin with broad‐spectrum multimodal sensing is realized through a synergistic material–algorithm optimization strategy. This strategy involves hard‐segment‐modulated 1D/2D/3D‐ionic conductors and a data‐driven decoupling model trained on a curated multi‐stimuli dataset.

Highly Stable All‐Sputtered Solid‐State Electrochromic Devices with Co‐Sputtered LiTaO3 Electrolyte Films for Smart Windows

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
An electrochromic device (ECD) based on a LiTaO3 (LTO) solid electrolyte is developed with a magenetron sputtering system. The LTO solid electrolyte‐based ECD demonstrates outstanding long‐term stability (less than 12% degradation after 3000 cycles) and fast response times (coloring: 4.13 s, bleaching: 6.14 s).

Investigation on the ventilation impact of enclosed-type teaching buildings under different aperture ratios and wind directions

open access: yesJournal of Asian Architecture and Building Engineering
Enclosed-type of educational buildings, which are commonly seen in the campus nowadays, suffer from poor natural ventilation, causing higher energy consumption from mechanical ventilation as well as poorer indoor air quality.
