Phase change process by natural convection-diffusion in rectangular enclosures

Heat and Mass Transfer, 2001
Phase change process of a melting pure metal in rectangular enclosures has been studied by finite difference-control volume method. The vertical walls are maintained at constant heat flux on the one side and constant temperature on the other while the horizontal ones are kept adiabatic.

Printmaking by Acid Natural Sources Replacing Chemicals Process

SSRN Electronic Journal, 2020
Currently, there are diversified presentation styles and processes on creative artwork. Although we are appreciated its value through various media, we do not concern deeply on its process that some harmful results might have affected to an environment and the artists themselves. Hence, art creation through printmaking is one of risking activities. The

Natural water softening processes by waterfall effects in karst areas

Desalination, 2000
Abstract The reduction of water hardness, which occurs at waterfalls on rivers in karst areas, is considered to be a result of the waterfall effects. These consist of aeration, jet-flow and low-pressure effects. Waterfall effects bring about two physical changes in river water: an increase in the air-water interface and turbulence.

Computational Nature of Processes Induced by Biochemical Reactions

2010
Natural computing is concerned with human-designed computing inspired by nature as well as with computations taking place in nature, i.e., it investigates phenomena taking place in nature in terms of information processing. Well-known examples of the first strand of research are evolutionary computing, neural computation, cellular automata, swarm ...

Processing of Antigens by Dendritic Cells: Nature’s Adjuvant

2000
These are exciting times in dendritic cell biology. For example, scientists are learning to control dendritic cell development to produce large numbers of these specialized antigen-presenting cells. The dendritic cells are then used in studies of mechanism of action, e.g., antigen uptake and processing. The findings also are being exploited in clinical
