A Planck-like problem for quantum charged black holes [PDF]
Motivated by the parallelism existing between the puzzles of classical physics at the beginning of the XXth century and the current paradoxes in the search of a quantum theory of gravity, we give, in analogy with Planck's black body radiation problem, a ...

A conformal fluorocarbon self‐assembled monolayer on Li6PS5Cl protects the solid electrolyte from degradation by polar solvents and moisture. This surface stabilization allows scalable slurry processing and stable cycling even under low pressure, offering a practical pathway to high‐performance all‐solid‐state batteries. Abstract Achieving chemical and

Minor-Embedding in Adiabatic Quantum Computation: I. The Parameter Setting Problem [PDF]
We show that the NP-hard quadratic unconstrained binary optimization (QUBO) problem on a graph $G$ can be solved using an adiabatic quantum computer that implements an Ising spin-1/2 Hamiltonian, by reduction through minor-embedding of $G$ in the quantum
