Journal of the Korean Ophthalmological Society, 2008 Purpose: To report a case of a macular hole resulting from accidental Nd:YAG laser capsulotomy for cataract, which was treated by vitrectomy. Case summary: A 70-year-old man had decreased visual acuity one day after Nd:YAG laser capsulotomy. By fundus exam, vitreous and macular hemorrhages were observed.
