Current therapies for allergic rhinitis primarily provide symptomatic relief but fail to establish durable antigen‐specific immune tolerance. Here, we developed an oral nano‐dietary fiber (NDF) platform that integrates allergen delivery with microbiota‐driven immunomodulation, using dextran as both an antigen carrier and a fermentable substrate for ...

We evaluated the effect of starter diets with four levels [12.85, 19.91, 26.99, and 34.04% of dry matter (DM)] of neutral detergent fiber (NDF) on the growth, ruminal fermentation, and structural growth of Holstein calves.

ABSTRACT Aedes aegypti, a critical vector for tropical diseases, poses significant challenges for studying its embryogenesis due to difficulties in removing its rigid chorion and achieving effective fixation for in situ hybridization. Here, we present novel methodologies for fixation, dechorionation, DAPI staining, and in situ hybridization, enabling ...

Abstract Background Fusarium graminearum, one of the causal agents of ear rot in maize and head blight of cereal grains, also infects hemp (Cannabis sativa L. containing a maximum of 0.3% tetrahydrocannabinol or THC). This fungal pathogen produces trichothecene mycotoxins when it infects maize and cereal grains, but little is known about its production

Abstract Background Cassava leaves are a major byproduct of cassava processing and have a low utilization rate. In this study, Lactiplantibacillus plantarum, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, and Bacillus subtilis were used for solid‐state fermentation of cassava leaves to improve their feed quality. Results After 48 h of fermentation, the feed pH decreased to

Layered and Collecting NDFS with Subsumption for Parametric Timed Automata [PDF]
This paper studies the analysis and parameter synthesis problems for Parametric Timed Automata (PTA) with properties in Linear-time Temporal Logic (LTL). It introduces a series of variations of Nested Depth-First Search (NDFS). We first study the LTL model checking problem for PTA.

In vitro and in sacco determination of neutral detergent fibre digestibility of treated cereal straw
Abstract Background Cereal straw is hardly digestible due to its complex bonds of lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose. That is why chemical treatments, such as with sodium hydroxide, may help to loosen the bonds and thus increase ruminal digestibility. Neutral detergent fibre (NDF) digestibility is a good predictor of feed intake.
