Evaluating CRoS-NDN: a comparative performance analysis of a controller-based routing scheme for named-data networking

open access: yesJournal of Internet Services and Applications, 2019
The huge amount of content names available in Named-Data Networking (NDN) challenges both the required routing table size and the techniques for locating and forwarding information. Content copies and content mobility exacerbate the scalability challenge

Estimating Inulin Intake and Its Contribution to Total Fibre Intake in UK School‐Aged Children: A Pilot Feasibility Study

open access: yesNutrition Bulletin, Volume 50, Issue 4, Page 633-639, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Inulin is a prebiotic fructan‐type fibre found in vegetables, cereals, and fruits, while isolated inulin is used as a sugar replacement additive. Children in the UK do not meet dietary fibre recommendations, and inulin could contribute to increased fibre intake. However, inulin intake is not routinely assessed.

Mathematical Models for Named Data Networking Producer Mobility Techniques: A Review

open access: yesMathematics
One promising paradigm for content-centric communication is Named Data Networking (NDN), which revolutionizes data delivery and retrieval. A crucial component of NDN, producer mobility, presents new difficulties and opportunities for network optimization.

What Is Known About the Fish Intake of People Living in Disadvantaged Communities in the UK? A Scoping Review

open access: yesNutrition Bulletin, Volume 50, Issue 4, Page 577-603, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Fish provides essential nutrients, including protein, omega‐3 fatty acids (oily fish) and other micronutrients, and may be seen to have a prominent role in protecting against non‐communicable diseases, especially cardiovascular disease. Recent UK National Diet and Nutrition Survey analysis suggests people are not meeting their weekly fish ...

Every Person Counts in a Fair Transition to Net Zero: A UK Food Lens Towards Safeguarding Against Nutritional Vulnerability

open access: yesNutrition Bulletin, Volume 50, Issue 4, Page 683-702, December 2025.
ABSTRACT The British Nutrition Foundation and Quadram Institute hosted a multidisciplinary roundtable, chaired by Professor Jessica Fanzo, to explore how the UK food system can be transformed to achieve net zero targets while ensuring nutritional adequacy, food security, and health equity across the life course. Current dietary patterns are significant

A Comparative Performance Analysis of Popularity-Based Caching Strategies in Named Data Networking

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Data communication in the present Internet paradigm is dependent on fixed locations that disseminate similar data several times. As a result, the number of problems has been generated in which location dependency is the most crucial for communication ...

Energy Consumption in Relay Underwater Acoustic Sensor Networks for NDN

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In recent years, a typical representation of the next-generation Internet architecture, named data networking (NDN), and a critical form of the underwater Internet of Things (IoT), underwater acoustic sensor networks (UASNs), have attracted widespread ...

A review of SDN‐enabled routing protocols for Named Data Networking

open access: yesEngineering Reports
Named Data Networking is a novel network architecture for the future internet in which data is named rather than addressed. This enables routers to forward data more efficiently based on its name, outperforming IP‐based routing.

Name Filter: A Countermeasure Against Information Leakage Attacks in Named Data Networking

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Named data networking (NDN) has emerged as a future networking architecture having the potential to replace the Internet. In order to do so, the NDN needs to cope with inherent problems of the Internet, such as attacks that cause information leakage from
